Details on fees are available in our About us
This full-time course prepares students to become professional performers. In the first year students grow secure in all forms of dance, musical theatre, singing and drama, progressing at an ambitious rate. Building on the foundation of training they have previously received they develop technical skills and explore different styles of performance. Technical classes are personalised according to the students’ level of ability and this is analysed by termly assessments enabling progression and development requirements to be tailored to the individual.
In the second year training is developed and enhanced further. Students are encouraged to develop skills which have direct relevance to their career paths, for example enhance their image, become confident with their appearance, and learn techniques to set them apart from the crowd. The student refines and polishes performance skills ensuring a well rounded and individual performer.
Castings and auditions
CVs, photos, and Z cards are prepared during the final months and TTC suggests a choice of photographers and agencies. An audition folder is developed throughout the course and is personalised to include sheet music from rehearsed songs and monologues which suit the individual student. Graduating students will go to castings and auditions confident and prepared.
Throughout the two years assessments are regularly made, initially by the Directors and Heads of Faculties, and then by tutors. The frequency of evaluation and review ensures students an unrestricted opportunity to progress.
